BP ESS 1.0 and CRM 5.0 info reqd!

Hi All,

I am supposed to implement Business Package for ESS 1.0 and CRM 5.0 (working on ECC 6.0 and CRM 5.0).

I do have an idea on Business Packages for ESS on ITS, but now these packages based on Webdynpro have different implementation procedures.

My questions are as follows:

1) I would like to know how much configuration time it usually takes to implement them and what configurations are required in the Backend system to make them work. Like if we talk about HCM pack i.e ESS do some configurations are required in backend as well. And will they be done by the HR consultant or EP person.

2)Do we install some patch or plugin to make these BP work?

3) I have to create systems and Jco connections, does this means that the data will be fetched through some RFC/BAPI and can I get the list of these RFC;s or BAPI to check if they are working in Backend or not?

4) If I want to change some content in the iview of BP, do I need to go to WebDynpro for that?

5) Where will I get the implementation guide for ESS 1.0 and CRM 5.0 ( for EP 7.0).
