Mat Master creation - Keys for views

Former Member

All,

I am creating/ Updating Mat. Master using the data from a .NET application via XI.

I am using a proxy for this on the R/3 end.

When creation or update fails on any of the views, I am trying to get and send the info to source .NET team.

Is there any place to know what are the key fields for each of the views?

Or How to know which fields of a particular view will form the key for that view.

reg,

Check the tables in the JOIN conditions in SE11.

Naveen,

Get into MM01 transaction and select all the views and then in the next screen,

you can go through each tab and it will show the mandatory fields for each tab while entering the data.

We can do the setting at the config level whether the field is mandatory or not..

Hope it helps,

Reward if it is useful.

Thanks,

Srinivas

Does any mandatory field mean that it is a key or part of the key.
