variable error no data available error

i have characterstics

mat no

purchase group

0document_date

price

qty

it is executing on portal.

but when iam creating variable process type manual..... with range of intervals..

variable mandatory

when processed it is saying NO DATA AVAILABLE ERROR..

could any please reply

Hi Guru,

I had the same problem from quiet some time...Apply the latest FEP Patch level 2.

Do u get the same error when ran in RRMX ?

Check for data in the Underlying Infoprovider for the same datarange selection considering all the selections/filters u made elsewhere in the report ?

Do u have any errors when u do a CHECK on Query ?

Run it in RSRT.

its fine with rrmx, data is lying in the infoprovider.. level... and no errors while i check on query...

when i run on rsrt... it says no applicable data found.,....

without variable.. it is working fine in all aspects..

but only when i create... using characterstic value, process type.. manual...

choosen interval..... dates from 01.01.1991 to 01.01.1992...

Processing type = Manual, I don't remember having manual process type in variable creation, but there is user Entry. When creating variable, instead of using interval try to change it to selection option and see if that is going to make any changes in your query execution.

am wonderinf if you are able to see the data in Bex analyser, why you are not able to in the portal.

anyways, a quick question, hope you have made use of the formula variables with processing type as replacement path in the varibles for calculation,
