How to increase the length of a field in f-43 screen

Hi

I am working on f-43 screen. I have to increase the length of text field in invoice screen. I should have the comment line printed on the payment check. How can I change the length of field to accomodate 400 Chars. Is there any customization from FI side to increase the length or should I consult the abap team to do so.

Hi,

there is something called long texts next to the text column where u can give what ever text details u wish to give.

Hi Radhika,

I tried doing that with a couple of invoices but I dont see the Long text printed on the check after the automatic payment run. Can you please suggest me if I am missing on anything. I inserted a long text and a '*" before this to have it printed on the check which does not seem to work. Can you please suggest me alternative solution.

Hi,

The text field can hold only 50 chars and u need to check with ABAPer if there is a way to change it.
