Export a Chart or a Graph to Power Point

Hi,

Is there any possibility in BI 7.0 to export a chart or graph to power point directly or with some other source? Please suggest.

Hi,

This is the exact functionality shown by the person who won the Demo Jam at TechEd last week. I will post back with more info if I can find some, else you can try to search meantime.

If you are using the Portal to access BI reports, then the export to excel functionality exports the charts as picture to excel. Once the chart/graph is available as picture, you can copy-paste it in powerpoint/word or any other application.

Thanks for responding.

I tried this but when i try to save the picture it gets saved in GIF or BITMAP image and when i open it with Power point it doesn't open.And , even tried copying directly to powet point but its not happening.

Is there any other option?

However in BI 7.0 we can save it to Excel or PDF.
