Using CTS+ with XI

I read an article from Wolf Hengevoss from SAP talking about the use of CTS+:

https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/webas/java/conflict%20resolution%20–%20How%20to%20Analyze,%20Handle,%20and%20Avoid%20Integration%20Conflicts.pdf

At the end of his article in the summary, he mentions that if I am on CMS, I should wait until NW 7.0 SP13 before making the transition from CMS to CTS. However, in his other points, he strongly recommends moving to CTS.

Currently, we are using a CMS environment that is on a 6.40 WebAS (NW 04 sp17), but our XI systems are on NW 7.0 SP12. We have experienced some "quirks" in the CMS system over the past couple of months.

My question is why should I wait until SP13, and is it OK to go to CTS+ now instead of waiting?

Thanks,

Eric<a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/webas/java/conflict%20resolution%20–%20How%20to%20Analyze,%20Handle,%20and%20Avoid%20Integration%20Conflicts.pdf">CTS+ Documentation</a>
