Before doing client copy do a Client export of User Master data.

After you complete client copy import this again.

I don't think anyone has understood the OP's question. I believe that the OP is asking about how the export/import of user master records during client copy works when CUA is active.

I have now tested this myself and I see that regardless of which client copy profile is selected, this message is displayed:

"Central user administration is active. User master data is not copied."

It appears to me that user master records are not copied during a client copy even when the client copy profile SAP_ALL is selected.

Also, with CUA active, there should be no need to back out user master records anyway as they are already in the central system.

Can someone with more experience with CUA/client copy please confirm?
