Pricing Procedure

Hi Gurus

Have a question regarding the pricing procedure in CRM

There are two fields in the set up of pricing procedure in IMG => They are<i> Level no</i> and<i> Counter</i>

Level no is the number for the condition type in the procedure.What is the use of Counter.I belive it works in conjunction with the field Level no.

For exp

Level no Counter Condition Type

100 1 XXXXX

100 2 YYYY

100 3 ZZZZZ

100 4 CCCC

100 5 AAAA

What is the outcome or effect of this bit of customizing ?

Hi Jessy,

Putting counter number in between gives you the flexiblity of putiing more condition types in between.

For Eg say i have

100 0PR0 Price

101 K007 Discount

Now i wish to put one more condition type for material specific price say some XXXX and the discount should be calculated on both 100 0PR0 and XXXX. In such a case it should be present in between.( else it becomes difficult to specify FROM and TO field)

Now it becomes:

100 1 0PR0

100 2 XXXX

101 1 K007

Wish this gives the explanation.

If that is the requirement, the following should be fine...

Level Counter Condition Type From To

100 0 0PR0 0 0

101 0 XXXX 0 0

102 0 K007 100 101

instead of your

<i>Now it becomes:

100 1 0PR0

100 2 XXXX

101 1 K007</i>

Is that right Shalini ?
