Hi,
I have transported the document types in BCS from development to quality server.
All document types are transported , but not the document number created and assigned to it.
Does it mean we have to manually recreate the document number/ranges in each system? Does it not get transported automatically?
Regards,
Hi Mani,
Though, the system says (after creation of a new number range):

The number range intervals are not included in automatic recording of
customizing changes. Transport of all the changes made within number
range interval maintenance must be triggered manually.
In the initial screen for number range interval maintenance choose the
function Interval -> Transport.
Please note the information that you get when transporting number range
intervals.
I often created number ranges in Q-P systems manually.
Hope it helps.

Hi Experts,
I'm having the same problem about number range.
But our issue is: we have no access to update or create number ranges from BCS.
What are all the objects/transactions we need to do that?
And also, is there a difference between number range from BCS and number range from R/3? or is it the same table?
I'm asking that, to predict what would happen if we transport the number ranges.
Thanks in advance,
Beatriz
