STMS Problem

Hi there,

im playing with the STMS System in our playground.

There are 2 Servers PF1 (Domain Controller) and TF1.

I configured and deleted the STMS in both Systems to learn how it works.

Now im facing the following Problem:

The TF1 is waiting for the DC to be accepted in the Domain.

The PF1 which i used to act as the DC is no longer available, i used the Server for other testings.

Now i want the TF1 to be used in another Transport domain.

So i want to delete the Transport Configuration (In STMS .

But this is not working. It stops with an errormessage "TMS is not active for TF1".

So how can i reset the TMS on the TF1 without the PF1?

Deadlock.. 😃

Greetings Manuel

Hi Manuel...

If TF1 was part of PF1 and you remove the domain controller... then go to TF1, client 000 and it should ask you to enter the domain controller details again (like when it haven't been configured)... otherwise go to STMS -> Extras -> Delete TMS configuration, That should solve your problem

That is exactly my Problem!

If i enter the STMS on TF1 it says

"Waiting to be added into Transportdomain",

which means it is waiting for the PF1 (which is not longer available).

And if i try to delete the TMS configuration, as you said, i get an error message

"TMS is not configured".

So i'm not able to enter the Transportdomain nor to leave.

Is it possible to reactivate the request for being added to the Domain?

Hi there,

i found the solution by myself.

The only way to get out of this situation is Transaction SE06 (Afterinstallation Tasks of Transport organiser).

Choose "Database Copy or Migration".

Choose "Delete TMS".

After that, i've started the STMS and was asked for a new TMS Configuration.

Thx for reading..

Greetings
