Bulk user assignment in EP 7

Hi ,

We have a requirement , where users are searched based on their department.All these users should be assigned to a particular group.

In Ep 7.0 , when we select a group and search for users in Assigned Users tab.. there is no filter criteria. Users are searched only on user id.. .So bulk assignment of users to group .. is not possible..

XML uploads wont help as we still need to find.. the users belonging to a particular department.

Is there any easier way achieve it.. instead of doing for each user and doing the same. ?(we would like to avoid custom development here)

Any suggestions would be great.

If i understand correctly., your requirement is mass upload of users and assigning groups to those users.

If that is the requirements, then u can use to "Import of User management data" feature in Portal. You will need to create a file as given below

For groups
