Hi,

I got a requirement, pls help me and details are as follows:

In a order say there are 100 items ordered and

through CMIR for 50 item plant determined say Plant 1

through Material master for remaining 50 items plant deter as Plant 2

For my scenario pricing procedures are different for Plant 1 & Plant 2

if both are ordered in a single order how should i address the issue??

Order types for both plants are different bcoz of pricing. Sales area is same for both the plants, even i cant say user has to create two different orders. How should i split the order based on plant? Is there any std way to do or throgh ABAP any std bapi is there if so pls help me in resolving the issue.

Regards

Jack

Hello Jack,

This scenario is not supported by SAP beacuse you need to create one order using two different order types which is not possible.

Also pricing procedure is determined using sales area + customer pricing procedure +document pricing procedure.

So you cannot have two pricing procedures in same order. Also, pricing procedure is at header level so it is applicable to all items.

You can determine plant from below records in given order only.

1.Customer Material Information Record.

2.Customer Master Record and

3.Material Master Record.

If system finds plant in CMIR then it will not go till Material Master.

Order types are no where related to plant. They are on the basis of sales area.

Hope it helps

Hello,

What is a need for creating different pricing procedure for different plant? Pricing procedure can be different based on sales organization or distribution channel. Because pricing specific elements can be differentiated on these units.

Can you explain the need of having pricing procedure based on different plant, than the problem could be understood more in detail.

Hi Jack,

This will not support in SAP Standard.

Beacause having Two plants, Two Pricing Procedure and Two Document Types.

you can not create Order Using Two Sales Document Types( Order Type) Once you enter VA01 you will be having only one Option of Sales Doc Type, Sales Area etc., Hence you can not club the two order types in one single Sales Order.

Basic Rule of Plant Determination in the System Fallows:

1.Customer Material Information Record.

2.Customer Master Record and

3.Material Master Record.

Hope this will help you and Please Reward If Really Helpful,

Hi,

If the order types are different for both the plants then you can not club them together in one order, you have to create 2 different orders only for them...

You need to have a common order type for both the plants only then you can create a single order for both of them...
