ALERT MESSAGE(SCOT/SU01/)

Hi All,

I am configuring the ALERT MESSAGE, which is working perfectly in the development but in the quality it is not working and not able to send the mails to external id.

I have checked the SU01 the id is right, In the ALERT INBOX i am able to see the message for any error but it is not sending mails to external id.

I thought there might be the problem in SCOT. So to check it out i went to ALRTCATDEF--settingsconfiguration.

there i put the SMTP as the option and provided my mailid. So now i am able to get the mails but there i will get the mails for all the error and not for any particular interface.

So is there anythings that i need to check to make this done.

Log on to the Alert Inbox . Go to link PERSONALIZATION. Select time independent delivery and Email here.

Go to Su01 and make sure your User has a Email ID associated with it.

The Alert Email will not be triggered after these 2 steps are done.

In ALRTCATDEF you define several alert categories and the receipient for that category. In the RWB, section Alert Configuration you specify when a certain alert category is raised.
