PM Fleet User exit

Hi,

I need a user exit that validates a licence plate number entered during equipment creation ensuring that there are no current equipment with this licence plate number. I need a 1:1 relationship between equipment number and licence plate number.

I don't have much knowledge regarding the use of user exits, but I have found user exit: ITOB0004 Fleet object identification data - checks, not sure if this can be used. If anyone has general tutorial documents please email them to charmerboi@gmail.com
