Fail to activate changes because session hangs

Hi,

Sometimes, we can't activate changes in repository or directory because it hangs.

It doesn't return any error but activation doesn't finish: message "Activating changes" remains indefinitely in session.

Objects are not locked (we have checked it) .

What can be the cause?

Hi Carme,

This is definetly a cache problem, try to update the cache with sxi_cache. I hope it will start working.

We have done a full update of cache.

However, object seems be locked : we can't modfiy it and can't import TPZ modifying this object.

I have two questions:

• Why we have this problem so often?

• How must we solve this problem when it occurs?

Since your objects are not activated, therefore you are not able to import the TPZ file.

1. Go to Integration Rep -

>Change List and set the User to <b>ALL</b>, and press the refresh button.

Now see if any of your objects which are not activated, then first TRANSFER them and then try to activate.
