BP Roles List in Web Client

Hi

I am new to the CIC Web Client

As per the requirement when I am creating the BP I have to get the drop down list for the BP Roles.

Can anybody help me out how to do this in the Web client

Hi,

The Search Help ID for BP roles is "BUPA_ROLE", you could test it in se11.

The Table which holds all the BP Roles is TB003, check if the values are defined or not.

Use the above mentioned search help id in your drop down box implementation, thats in the Get_V_ method of the attribute, and then all the BP roles will be displayed.

Hello Devi,

You can only set a default role for all BP that are created through the webclient, you cannot give a choice to the user. If you want this functionality in the IC you'll have to program it for yourself.

The default role for BP creation is defined in the Business Partner Identification profile.

B2B, you can choose the default role for contact person creation and default role for organization creation

B2C, you can choose the default role for person creation.
