enhancing two fields to the datasource in r/3

Hi folks,

i have to add new fields in the ztable of r/3 and later to bw infocubes and ods.

i have added two new fields to extract structure of datasource in rsa6 tcode,

after activating i have got a warning.

Field X does not lie within customer namespace

Field Y does not lie within customer namespace

is the warning fine. can i go ahead and transport the same to production.

or should i have to resolve the warning n then transport to prd.

it wont be an issue as such. but it is always better to have names within customer name space.. think it should start with ZZ

my field name is z_fieldname....should i change it to zz_fieldname

or can i bypass the warning.

Hi Sanju,

You should change it to ZZ_Fieldname.

Dont Ignore it, it is a Standard and Advised Practice.

Guess the field name doesnt comply within the namespace. Check the length & also post the field names so that u can get a better reply
