material and plant- MRP area linkage

Hi all

I would like to see which Plant is delegated to a specific material.

Thus I know the material number and I would like to see which plant or MRP area it's been assigned to.

MM02 does not resolve, as the plant number is rerquired.

Hi

You can go to SE16N and give the table MARC.

In the table, give your material number and execute,

you will be getting the plant to which the materials are assigned to.

Thanks for the reply.

Actually just SE16N and MARC with Am. of hits as '*' gave an abap dump

so I combined all your replies & combination of SE16 and MARC works just fine.

Please use the tables DVER and MDMA to findout which are the plants assigned for that material for MRP .

you can view the MRP areas assigned to a material thru MDMA table in SE16. Though you can get a list of all MRP areas they will be always plant specific since you have to exclusively define the MRP area for a material whenever it is extended to a different plant.
