Urgent: PO created but EKKO and EKPO tables are not updated

Hi All,

I have a problem at the time of creating PO (purchase order):

after creating PO through ME21N, it is giving message "Purchase order create under 4500017186" (example of standard message). but after that when i am going to check through ME23N it is saying "This PO does not exist"; and interesting thing is that PO number is blocked and it is reflected in number range object. There is no record exist in EKKO and EKPO tables against that PO.

First i thought that it is a case of number range overlapping and i checked with different number range but in vain.

Please help me out from this problem, useful answer will be rewarded.

Regards

Krishnendu

hi Krishendu,

check if there is any hidden dump in ST22, and check the system log as well (SM21). Should be some error in the database...

Hi,

try to delete them and look in EKKO, EKPO and ME23N.

Does not matter what objects are locked in SM12, you should see the PO in ME23N (or in EKKO, EKPO) anyway if it exists... On the other hand deleting entries from SM12 can be very dangerous...

I am not sure, that you understand much of SAP...

Hi Eric,

and you are the greatest SAP-Expert?!?!.

I think, if anybody the the authority to SM12, i think he has an idea

what he will do and he is sensitive anove what he will do,

or it's simple a TEST-System.

or is it better to ask you first?!?!
