Scheduling Recurring Entries

Hi Friends,

User has created around 70 Recurring entries.

How do I setup a periodic job to post the entries, is it something that has to be done through create job or we can do that from further selections on the F.14 screen also.

If someone can provide steps it would be really helpful.

Please guide.

Steps for scheduling Recurring entries -

Step 1: Create run schedule

IMg-FA-FAGS-Document-Rec Entries - Define run schedule

Click 'New entries' - Run schedule: Any 4 char; Descr: Any text; SAVE

Step 2: Etner Run Dates

Enter run schdule name - New entries - Fill the date - SAVE

Step 3: Put enteries (FBD1)

Run sch: Give Step 1 name; Give Doc tyoe; Give posting entries; Doc number from special number range X1

Step 4: Posting

GL - Periodic processing - Recurring entries - Execute (F.14)

Settle period (Means the runs scheduled between the given period will be executed)

Execute

Session ID will be created

Goto SM35 - Select ur session - process - select the processing mode and click process button

hi Shefford,

the user has to run F.14 each period (normally this is a step in period closure) and the system will collect the recurring entries and create a batch job, which has to be processed in SM35.

That's all.
