Do not want to send Bid Smarform with Email when it goes out

Hello,

Does anyone know if I can disable the smartform in the email when we send it out? We do not want to send the smartform when we email bid invitation information out. Is this possible? Can anyone suggest steps?

Which SRM version are you using ?

<b>I am afraid as I think it's not possible to stop sending Bid Smartform with the E-mail.</b>

Hi,

Use Smartform BBP_BIDINV_BID to send text to bidders. For changing the

standard Smartform use trx SMARTFORM, copy BBP_BIDINV_BID and save it in

your own namespace (for example ZBBP_BIDINV_BID). You can then change the

text to suit your exact requirements.

Once you have done this, go to the Implementation Guide for Supplier Relationship

Management, choose SRM Server &#8594; Business Add-Ins for Enterprise Buyer and

complete the activity Change Smartform for E-Mails Relating to Bids. In the BAdI BBP_CHANGE_SF_BID enter the name of the new Smartform, in this case

ZBBP_BIDINV_BID.

Hello Disha,

Will it be possible to de-activate the smartform totally?

Maybe I should rephrase my question. The PDF in the email is generated from the smart form? Is there a way not to attach the PDF to the email when I send it out?

Hi,

Try not passing blank value for the smartform name in the BAdi

OR

To dettach the smartform may be you will have to change the settings in:

SPRO>Supplier Relationship Management>SRM Server>Cross-Application Basic Settings>Set Output Actions and Output Format-->Define Actions for Document Output

There for BI,you need to uncheck the option for "Smart Forms Mail"(default).But not suer as to how you will change the email content.

Hello Disha,

Even if I switch off the default, the PDF is still attached to the email when sent out. It erases the content of the email but the PDF is still attached.

Any idea where I can switch that PDF off?
