Hi Usha,
The GL Acount master data consists of two segments 1. The chart of Accounts . 2. Comopany segments.
The T codes gives you an option to edit/create/dispaly (bot COA and Co Code seg) together through FS00 or only COA separetly. To edit C Code segment separately not possible becuas ethe accounts are contained in COA.
Hope this resolves your query.
Do think this answer deserves points?
Regards
Bharat

hi Usha,
G/L accounts are built up on two levels: Chart of Account and Company Code. First you define the G/L account on Chart of Account level (FSP0), than you create in Company Code (FSS0), if you want to create in another company code as well, you repeat the last step (this means the chart of account data is common, while the company code data can differ for the same G/L account by company code). Of course you can do in one go as well (in transaction FS00).
hope this helps
