JCO DESTINATIONS

HI all,

I get the following error when I deploy and Run the application that is been developed in NWDS....

"com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (102) RFC_ERROR_COMMUNICATION: Connect to message server host failed Connect_PM TYPE=B MSHOST=punesrv02 GROUP=ESSUSER R3NAME=S10 MSSERV=sapmsS10 PCS=1 ERROR hostname '?' unknown TIME Wed Oct 10 11:06:34 2007 RELEASE 640 COMPONENT NI (network interface) VERSION 37 RC -2 COUNTER 1 "

so,I logged into content administartion and click on Maintain JCO Destinations

I am able to create the destinations...When I try to test or ping I get the same error

Hi,

the default probs are :

Ip address are not added to driver files in your windows.

Simple add the IP has give pre-reply.

And go to R/3 system goto smlg transation and make enable ur msg sever node public.

Then u can resolve ur problem.

make entries in the services file in your server Dir. path -> c:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\services

sapmsS10 3600/tcp # R/3 System message service port

Check your message port number with your R/3 Basis Admin.Default is

36[instance number]
