You need to create a dummy area in BPS similar to yout model in IP and run the simumation with powersim.

Hi,

What is the solution if we want to implement IP and use dynamic simulation but this feature is not available in IP but available in BPS?

Revaluation is like restatement with a adjustment of values; for example if you wish to keep the last year actual sales as next year plan with an increment of 5%.

Simulation is "what if" situations.

Hi,

Yes, I'm refering to powersim dynamic simulation in BPS. So is it if we required this feature we have to implement BPS rather than IP?

What is the different between dynamic simulation in BPS and the revaluation function in IP?

If you mean powersim, it is not supported in IP. Also, the dynamic simulation of BPS is not there in IP.

Hi All,

Is anyone know how to do business simulation in Integrated Planning (IP)?

What exactly do you mean with "business simulation". Do you mean simulating in BI IP? This is possible user the buffer functionality. Plan functions can be created to transfer to a "buffer". The workbook used can always read from this buffer. So saving is not required to simulate within one planning workbook.
