AIX and Portal

Hi,

we are checking the options for a portal installation on AIX vs Windows. There is a small sentence in the Online help (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/ed/b334ea02a2704388d1d2fc3e4298ad/content.htm)

saying that portal KM on AIX/UNIX does not work with Microsoft ADS. Does that mean, that we can not connect Windows File servers to the KM then ? This would definitely be a show stopper for AIX. How are documents from the windows world integrated /searched in KM with portal running AIX in existing installations?

just in case somebody cares:

After some research with SAP a workaround was found using the WebDav interface to connect to Windows.

However, some restrictions apply.
