Connection from Java webdynpro to XI

Can anyone suggest me how can i connect XI from Webdynpro created in NWDS.

Hi all,

Iam getting an error when i enter data in webdynpro and say go.

error:

Service call exception; nested exception is: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect

i think it is not even connecting to XI.

Can anyone suggest me in this.
