wantt o block a quotation , one option is reason for rejection other than that is there any way
regards
suvin
Sunaina,
Quotation is not an binding doc and not relevant for delivery, so you dont need to put a block. You can put a Quotation text regarding the block in the header data and also put in a Customer rejection message as suggested by others from the forum.
The whole point I thinking is to make people realise that the particular quotation is blocked. You can make the valid to date also to eod and kill the quotation.
Thanks

Hai sunaina,
Check this if it works:
IMG - Sales and Distribution - Sales - Sales Documents - Define and assign reason for Blocking .
Award if it helps.
Thanks

Hi,
Since you cannot do the legal delivery or billing with Quotation, Reason for rejection is the best option to block or even you can checkout based on your requirement, you may proceed with the Userexit.
REWARD if useful.

Hi Sunaina,
You can block the Quotation at Sales Document Types Level.
Select the Doc Type QT and there you will be having the Block just tick that below
and Save the Document.
Path
IMG--> S&D --> Sales Documents --> Sales Documents Header --> Define Sales Documents.
Please Reward If Really Helpful,
Thanks and Regards,

Hi Suniana kumar
you can do that in Customization at
Logistics - General->Material Master->Settings for Key Fields->Data Relevant to Sales and Distribution->Define Sales Statuses
Tcode : OVSU.
There all the blocks are available A is Warning and B is Error Message.
Block f.inquiry
Block f.quotation.
Block for order
Block prod.prop
Block sched.agr
BlckValContract
Block contract
Block f.returns
Free delivery
Block delivery
Block cred.memo
Block DebitMemo
Delivery block
You have to note one thing, eventhough this field is in Sales Org-1 it is in MARA Table, so it will effect all your sales Area.
I would suggest you to use MVKE-VMSTA Distribution-chain-specific material status
