Balance carried forward

Hi all

I am looking at customer balance in FD10N for fisacl year 2006, which is not shoing opening balance carried forward from 2005. But if I check for Fiscal year 2007, its showing opening balance carried forward from 2006. FBL5N is showing correct balances for all these years. This is happening only for a single vendor.

What could be the reason

HI Pushkaraj,

Pls check F.07 for that particular vendor. If it had done correctly then we need to explore more

Yes I also checked F.07 and found that it was not done for that customer !!!! But now the question is year 2006 is closed. If I do F.07 now then balance sheet will not reflect correct balance. What we need to do in this case

This is one of the mandatory step, i.e to carry forward the balance.

Which balance sheet will be affected? you mean opening?

I mean to say that as year 2006 is already closed with wrong balance for that customer, correct ? as opening balance was not correct. so what we need to do then
