GR poting for Asset

Hi,

Posting a GR with reference to PO for an Asset the accouting document is not generated and the following message is displayed

"Material document 5000000005 does not include an accounting document"

Could anyone suggest a fix for this.

Hi Kalyan,

Also check the account assignment category settings for "A" in OME9 and ensure that it is not GR-non valuated stock. If GR non valuated is activated, there will be no accounting document posted during MIGO. Value would be updated to the asset only while doing MIRO for all non valuated stocks.

Hi Kalyan,

Have you give the account assignment category as "A" and did you create the new asset master and selected the same.
