Email invoices with PDF attachment

Hi

Currently we are sending invoices as PDF attachment in email to users.

However the size of the PDF attachment is app. between 500-1000KB.

Is there any way to compress this PDF file or have any other image file which replaces PDF and less size.

Hi Madhusudhan,

Please implement the following SAP Note:

<b>PDF conversion:</b> Compression of bitmaps and TrueType fonts

<b>SAP Note Number: 843480 </b>

<b>Symptom</b>

PDF files that are created from SAPscript or Smart Forms documents by PDF conversion (function module CONVERT_OTF) are too large, for example, to be sent by e-mail.
