EA-APPL EA-HR EA-FINSERV What are they?

What does the EA stand for? Are support packages applied in the same manner as your regular BASIS, ABAP, APPL support packages. Where can I find documentation on these components. Please advise.

Hello Jorge,

EA components are "Extensions".

Yes, support packages for those components are available just like SAP_Basis and SAP_APPL. It is recommended to apply them according to the "stack" info.

You can activate those components from Tcode SPRO. For further info of each component, functional experts may have better info.
