Show text

I need to put text on a form. The form has a dropdown box on it. If it is the first time to the page I need the text value to be "Manager". If it is not, I need the text to display what was selected in the drop down box.

Hi Kevin,

You have to use am "Expression box" in the form, take the properites of the expression box, go to "Display" tab, select "Label position" as "No label", "Border style" as "None". This help you to make the expression box to show like Label Text. In the General tab of the properties box, you have to give a formula in "Expression" box, for that click the button "Formula" just right of it.

Use this formula

IF(@MyCombo=='','Manager',@MyCombo)

where MyCombo is the name of your dropdown box.

This will solve your problem.

Regards,

Shemim
