Download Scheduler in BI 7.0?

Hello Gurus,

We have to upgrade from BW 3.1C to BI 7.0. I understand, that Reporting Agent is still available in BI 7.0 with its tcode.

However, we do the precalculation of queries, and then download scheduler. I heard download scheduler is not available in 04s. Is that true? We are not going for immediate functional upgrade to configure IB. In such a case how to ensure that the existing functionality keeps on working?

Hi,

In 7.0 all 3.5 functionality including the downloadscheduler is present. Lucky you, so upgrade and use it again !

The answer is about 3.5 functionality, pls reconfirm whether 3.1c download scheduler is same.

bad reading from me 3.1 download scheduler is identical to 3.5 so you can go ahead.
