No J2EE Engine in Netweaver 7.0

Hi,

I´m trying to run the Adobe Forms in my Mini SAP and doesn´t work properly. After searching a whole bunch of documents, somewhere I read that I have to configure the J2EE Engine (Start -> Programs -> SAP J2EE Engine -> Visual Administrator). I cannot find that software in my computer, so I assume that´s one point for the forms for not working.

Is this another software that I must donwload from somewhere and install it ??

Thanks

Hi,

nope, I downloaded the one for ABAP. Does it means that I cannot create Adobe Forms ??

Actually...I'm not sure...Haven't tried it yet...But I think that you need both stacks installed in order to work with Adobe Forms...

Helle Jorge,

In order to work with Adobe Forms, you need to have an Adobe Document Server (ADS) which is included in the Java stack. Therefore you need a Java application server to work with Adobe Forms.

Hi Klaus,

considering that I installed the version for ABAP, my computer has no Java Stack and no Java application server. Where can I get one of this ?? in the SAP market place or at SUN ??

Thanks

Hi Jorge,

You can get a Java Trial at:

<a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/downloads">https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/downloads</a>

The <b>SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Java Trial Version</b> includes an Adobe Document Server. Be aware that there will be some configuration you have to come over.

Kind regards,

Klaus
