Studio 2.1.11 - web dynpro perspective not available

Hi.

I'm new to Netweaver studio and web dynpros.

I've just installed the Netweaver studio version 2.0.11

and I'm trying to create my first web dynpro.

So I first have to create a project,

and select a perspective.

But the Web Dynpro perspective is not in the list!

The following perspectives are in the list:

Development Component

Dictionary

J2EE

J2EE Server Componenet

Java

MDK Dev Tools

Plug-in Development

Potral Application

Simple

Together

Web Services

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Why i have suggested to reinstall the IDE is because apart from plugins ,IDE will copy some .dll files also.

SO we don't know weather the installer copied rest of the files apart from webdynpro!!

Hi,

I guess the plug in files are missing ! Go to your NDS eclipse plug ins folder and search for webdynpro ! I think it wont be there !

If u have a colleague who has already installed NDS 2.0.11 copy all the plug ins from his system and put it in yours !

This will solve the problem.You dont have to un-install the IDE

Hi,

Looks like some problem in the IDE snstallation.

1.Uninstall the IDE

2.Delete all the files under plugins folder under the "C:\Program Files\SAP\JDT\eclipse"

3.Install IDE again
