Default the dropdown in infotype 1

Hi All,

In Pa30, for infotype 1, under organization plan, for the supervisor field, when I try to pull by the drop down, I can see employees from all sub groups. I want to see only some employee subgroups in the dropdown. How do I go about to do this?

Does this has to be done through module pool or is there any setting in IMG or has to be done through user exit?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Sanda

This can be achieved by defining the authorisation profiles with Employee subgroups. The user can see only those Employee subgroups that he/she is authorised to see.

Hi Sanda,

I think you can make use of the user exit "PBAS0001". Use one of the components of the exit. Create a project for the same in CMOD and activate it.

Do the business checks in this user exit's include.
