Item Descr getting Special Charatcers(#) when transfering item from Catalog

Hi Guys,

We have French letters and English letters in Catalog . When you transferring item from catalog into SRM some of the characters like French characters getting # symbol in item description in SRM. Pls help out regarding this issue.

Hello Kumar,

What is your SRM platform ? Unicode/non-Unicode, code page, kernel patch.

What is the catalog side encoding ? UTF-8 or ISO-*.

Have you set the HTTP_CONTENT_CHARSET_ENABLED in the bbpsc* ITS service?

Hi Atul,

We are using SRM SERVER 550 . We applied SAP note for that but SAP came back to us saying that maintain "Code page" in the SRM->Master Data->Define External web services . We are mainitaing 1100 code page for French lang but still we are getting same Issue.
