Hi Ngassom,
Follow the path
SPRO -> Sales & Distribution -> Basic Function -> Account Assignment/Costing -> Business Area Account Assignment
1) Define Rules By Sales Area -> Select your sales area and either enter 001 or 002
2) If you enter 001, under the same menu path select Assign Business Area to Plant and Division -> Select your plant and division and assign a business area.
3) If you enter 002, under the same menu path select Assign Business Area to Sales Area -> Select your sales area and assign a business area.

Hello,
Try below configuration
SPRO -> Sales & Distribution -> Basic Function -> Accounting Assignment/Costing -> Business Area Accounting Assignment -> Define Rule by Sales Area -> Select your Sales Area and assign a rule.
If you select rule 001
SPRO -> Sales & Distribution -> Basic Function -> Accounting Assignment/Costing -> Business Area Accounting Assignment -> Assign Business Area to plant and division
If you select rule 002
SPRO -> Sales & Distribution -> Basic Function -> Accounting Assignment/Costing -> Business Area Accounting Assignment -> Assign business area to sales area.
Hope this will resolve your error.

Priyanka

Hi,
We can have 2 combinations
1. Plant + Div (most preferred, if many plants and divisions exits in a company)
2. Plant + sales area
When an Invoice is made from Plant 1, there might be many divisions under it, so to retrieve accounts in a micro level, you need to have a accounting element which can gives us the value in a certain combination.
So a Buss area is used for this purpose.
Business areas are primarily used to facilitate external segment reporting across company codes, covering the company's main areas of operation (product lines, branches).
You can assign all balance sheet items, such as fixed assets, receivables, payables, and material stock, as well as the entire P&L statement directly to business areas.
You can only assign banks, equity, and taxes manually to business areas indirectly. For this reason, it is not possible to create the legally-required financial statements and tax reports at business area level.
Financial statements at business area level are therefore only suitable for internal reporting.
Hence check the below path:
SPRO -> Sales & Distribution -> Basic Function -> Accounting Assignment/Costing -> Business Area Accounting Assignment -> Define Rule by Sales Area -> Select your Sales Area and assign a rule.
If you had select rule 001
SPRO -> Sales & Distribution -> Basic Function -> Accounting Assignment/Costing -> Business Area Accounting Assignment -> Assign Business Area to plant and division
If you had select rule 002
SPRO -> Sales & Distribution -> Basic Function -> Accounting Assignment/Costing -> Business Area Accounting Assignment -> Assign business area to sales area.
Hope this will solve your Purpose, Please Reward If Really Helpful,
Thanks and Regards,
