Plant not defined as valuation area

Hi Gurus,

Currently i am getting an error related to Plant not deined as valuation area.Now when i check in the "Group together valuation areas" node i cant see my plant there.Also there is no option to make any new entry there.I can only change the existing entries.How do i correct it now.

Hi ,

Check the valuation level in Tcode ox14, IMG - Definition - Logistics general - Define valuation level .

Once set, it is not possible to switch the valuation level from plant to company code, or vice versa. If absolutely necessary to subsequently change the valuation level, contact your SAP consultant because a data conversion is required.

The choice of valuation level affects the following :

1.Maintenance of material master records,

2.G/L accounts in which material stocks are managed,

3.G/L accounts to which transactions are posted in Materials Management.

check in your plant has been linked to your company code.If it is linked,then it will be displayed here.you can give the valuation grouping code.

Please check the wheterh the valuation area active at plant level through Transaction code OX14.
