Customer Material Description

Hi all,

Where can I configure the Customer Material descriptions.

for a single material diff descriptions for diff customers.

Hi Venkatesham,

You can define in VD51. You can give customer (ID), sales org., distribution channel.

You can define (for the same material) different descriptions for different customers.

Hi

In Customer material info record u can do it.(CMR)

Customer material Info-Records are Specific to a Customer and a Product. Customer can provide his part number called Ordering Party Number which can be connected to Product. ID Number is maintained in SAP.

The Record is the Highest – Level record in Master data Hierarchy. This record if available then system searches for Customer Material Info-Record for default Plant to be copied into Order.

In addition Customer Material Info-Record can be maintained to include minimum delivery quantity delivery agreements like partial delivery or full delivery etc.

Step: 1

Path: SAP menu --- Logistics --- SD --- Master data --- Agreements --- Customer Material Info-Records.

T-Code: VD51

Enter the Customer (Sold-to-Party) and Sales Org. and Distribution Channel

Then ENTER

Enter the data

Now Select the line item and Select details/Select Go to Info-Records/Select F2

Then Save

Like this we can give single material different description for different customer
