Hi,

In the availability overview(CO09) can anybody tell the meaning of confirmed.

In our case there is a requirement of the component against a sub con order of qty. x. Also x is mentioned under heading confirmed. What does it mean. Does it mean that the specified component has already been consumed by the sub con PO.

here the Confirmed qty stands for committed quantity for the requirement.

that is if component against a sub con order of qty. x. Also if x is mentioned under heading confirmed. then for the requirment of X then same qty is committed to be available to meet the same requirement.

it is like a reservation
