ESS- Income Tax Sec80 & Sec80C declarations

Hi,

This is with related India Payroll applications in ESS.

We found that there is no service to capture details of Sec80 deductions(Infotype 0585) and Sec80C deductions(Infotype 0586) through ESS.

We would like to know whether there is any standard service in ESS to

capture the above details.

Kindly revert on the same.

Hi Vidhya,

ESS services is available for the Sec 80, sec80C, HRA, Income from other sources and Previous employement details as well that is IT0580, 0581, 0584, 0585, 0586.

Check for SAP Note 1287654, 1550789 and 1553682. Note that the development happened in EHP5 (ECC 6.05). But the solution has been downported by SAP to EHP4 via Note 1553682.

Hence the pre-requisite is that you should be EHP4 (that is ECC 6.0 enhancement package 4) atleast.

We are proposing this solution to a client,but Note 1553682 has not been released or being reworked.

We are on Ehp 4 with EA-HRCIN 0006.i have few queries on this:

1.Can you mentioned the required patch level where this solution will work?

2.Also do we need to update the ESS role manually or there is a BP available?

3.Are these services based on WDA or WDJ?

Service is available only for 0585 and not for 0586
