Performing IDOC-File scenario

the MM is working fine with test values

but when I p lace the IDOC (XSD ) in MM and test it, its not generating the receiver node

Do not test with <b>XSD</b>, test it with <b>XML</b> data. And you will get the results.

You need to take the payload of the inbound message from message monitoring.Copy this in MM and check what values it gives.

It is not giving me any values

However, the problem is resolved

The extended IDOC segment value which I have mapped my root node with hasnt appearing in the incoming IDOC segment n thus producing no output

Hi Nikhil,

Correct me if I understood it wrongly.

You need to copy the IDOC xml data and copy it for testing. XSD is the definition for your XML data.

You should not copy the XSD as the input to the Mapping program.

Follow this steps:

- Go to your Mapping Program

- Click on Test tab

- Click on the SRC tab and copy your XML data here not XSD.

I am doing the same thing wat you asked me to

but when I provide sample values(provide my own values from MM > test > enter values) in MM and test, its working perfectly

Map your target node with Constant in graphical mapping and then try it.
