Course and Attendee Appraisal

Hello Experts,

Need your advice as I am confused.

We have created appraisal templates for Course Appraisal and Attendee Appraisal.

In order to create relationship between Course and Appraisal which relationship do we create using transaction PP01 ?

a) Is it A608 to assign a valid appraisal template to Course ( the system displays message "Object 01 VA 5000NNNN does note exist".)

or

b) ( A057 ) and / or ( A058 ) .

When attempted to create relationship between Course and appraisal template ( A057 ) an error message is displayed stating " Between type D and VA relationship A057 is not allowed --> T777E ).

We can customise the relationship in table T777E, but is that a right way forward?

<b>Can you please advise what is the correct procedure to assign appraisal template to Course to conduct a) Attendee appraisal b) Course Appraisal.</b>

Please treat this as urgent.

Many thanks for your guidence, we've as suggested we checked the following :-

Check these steps to rectify the problem:

- entry HAP00 REPLA (in table T77S0) should be 'A' or 'T' ==> Entry exists 'A'

- the action D/DC - A608 - VA should exist to allow to relate the appraisal model directly during the creation of the training type

(transaction OOMT) ==> Created the action however, I feel without this action, if we ensure the relationship is created manually using PP01 it should meet the requirement.

For one of the courses & Appraisal Template we've created relationship A608 for in Planned Status.

- appraisal catagories must exist for the training appraisal ==> Appraisal categories are available

- appraisal formular must exist for the training formular ==> Appraisal template is available for training evaluation.

- the ID of the appraisal formular must be maintained in HRLSO TEMPL (table T77S0) ==> Appraisal template object ID is entered, record exists in T77S0.

But still the training evaluation template is not appearing in ESS.

Any further advise ?

Hi George!

1) In PP01 the error message comes because of the plan status.

You have to take care of the "active" and "plan" status.

It is possible to relate trainingtypes in status 1 with the VA object

in status 4 via relationship 608 in status 2.

Unfortunately the system is designed this way and some customers already complained, but the business logic cannot be changed via Product Evaluation..
