Hi,

Could someone help me with my problem. I am currently configuring the CCMS in our SAP XI 3.0. Apparently, until now we are having problem regarding the SAPCCMSR, it was not running. Although, we manually started it from services and after a while it automatically stop. What seems to be the problem?

Appreciate your assistance.

Hi Barry,

I have already looked on the information you have given.

We are on Windows platforms, I have repeatedly started the service SAPCCMSR from the system services but after a couple of seconds it stop. Also, we did check transaction RZ21, the communication status was "Shutdown" we did change it already into "Online" status and made a "Test Connection" but we just got an Error opening an RFC connection" and the status suddenly goes back to "Shutdown" status. What seems to be the problem.

Please help.

Can you post the details from the SAPCCMSR.log file?

Hi,

Probable there is error in Java stack monitoring as RFC destination is not reachable. Once you configured the CCMS agents for local XI system in case of Windows you need to restart the server. In case of Unix host you need to reboot the system. Go to Tcode RZ21-> Toplology->CCMS agents for localsystem and you will observe one for Appserver(ABAP Stack) and other for JavaStack. Just use test tab to test them. In case of Java stack is getting the problem then there may be problem with RFC destination.

Hi Daniel,

Yes, you are right I have a problem with my JAVA Stack RFC Connection, because when I click on Test Connection tab, I got an error of " Error at Connection Set-up: Error opening an RFC connection".

Could you help me with this problem. Appreciate your assistance. Thanks
