New GL Planning-Urgent

Former Member

Hi Gurus,

Could any one explain when the NEW GL planning will go to the FAGLFLEXP table.

We found that all the plan values are going to FAGLFLEXT table, the transaction type GLPL.

Should we avoid the planning value going Total Table FAGLFLEXT?

Any documentation available on this customization?

Regards

Saba

FAGFLEXP is for planning line item table. This is similar to FAGLFLEXA table. As you are aware when a document is posted in FI it impacts FAGLFLEXA and FAGLFLEXT. Similarly when a planning document is posted it impacts FAGLFLEXP and FAGLFLEXT tables.

All the planning values will also flow into FAGLFLEXT table. Because this is the total table and there is no way that you can prevent it.This is SAP design. However you can differentiate the planning related total postings by filtering activity GLPL and record type 1.
