Dear Experts,
I have some questions here :
1. If someone has tried 3 times logon, and he is being locked by the system, is it possible to track the terminal which the user tried to logon ? How ?
2. How to know the user who has killed our session (using SM04) ?
3. In tcode ST03, at workload overview analysis, there is a task named "Others".
Does anyone know what kind of tasks are they (examples) ?
Please kindly advise.....
Regards,
casper
HI...
To check the Hostname from where the user is locked use tcode SM21.
Award points if helpful.

Hi Casper,
1. If someone has tried 3 times logon, and he is being locked by the system, is it possible to track the terminal which the user tried to logon ? How ?
Goto SM21 and look for the corresponding entry. Double click on it. Next screen will give the details one of which will be terminal.
Alternatively in the intial screen of SM21 from menu bar select GOTOLayout>Select with terminal name column. After this execute SM21. Terminal name will show up in the output.
2.. How to know the user who has killed our session (using SM04) ?
This information is also available in SM21.
One thing to note is in case of mutiple application servers you need to check SM21 seperately in each server.
3. In tcode ST03, at workload overview analysis, there is a task named "Others".
Which other are you talking about. Can you please let us know the navigation path.
Regards.
Ruchit.

Ruchit,
For question no. 3, you just need to enter ST03. At the right side, the display screen already about workload overview. You may see at Task Type Column
There are tasks :
1. Auto ABAP
2. Background
3. Buffer sync.
4. Dialog
5. HTTP
6. Others. <- this is the task I meant
7. RFC
8. Update
Will be great if you also describe what kind of task is Auto ABAP, Buffer sync., and HTTP.
Thanks & Regards,
Casper
