Downloading the customizing from R/3

Hi Experts,

How can I download the R/3 Customzing into my CRM system.

Hello,

First of all, finalize what do you want to download from R/3. Lets see if you want to downlaod conditions customzing and master data then do this.

1) goto tx r3ac5 and check all the existing objects. You will see lots of customizing objects like DNL_CUST_*. If its the first time, you are doing down load then just download DNL_CUS_CND_ALL.

For condition master data, pick the objects based on table which you want to download. Let say you want to downlaod SAP304 from R/3 then pick the object DNL_COND_A304.

2) If you want to dowload other business objecst like partner, producst etc then goto tx R3AC1 or R3AC3

you can trigger the download from tx R3AS.

hi,

If I create ,y own condition table then how does this download object created in CRM, will it be created automatically or I will have create the download object manually.

Hi Murali,

If you create your own condition table in R/3 u will have to craete a separate condition object for the table in CRM.

For Eg, if u have craeted condition table 501 in R/3 the steps to get to download the same to CRM will include:

1. R3AC5 : Create an adaptar object with object name DNL_COND_A501

U can copy it from DNL_CUST_A500. Just change the table name in tab Tables/Structures to A501.

2. Ensure that the tick Object Inactive is left blank.You can also check in Table Smoftables if the adapter object can be seen.

3. Start initial load of the above object in R3AS.

4. The data should come in table CNCCRMPRCUS501.

Say for Eg u wish to get the account groups customizing to CRM use DNL_CUST_KTOKD, In Tcode R3AS. This shall get all the account groups from R/3 to CRM. Similarly the rest are responsible for various customizings.
