Dear Consultants,
In which scenario CIN transaction type DIEX is meant for?
What is the meaning of differential excise invoice?
regards
Jyoti
hi,
diex is used wen you want to settle excise accounts. for eg- if there is a scenarion of invoice corrections (past invoices changed to reflec the current pricing, generally thru credit or debit notes) then in such cases the system does not allow settling of excise registers against hte differential amounts. so in such cases manual excise JV is issued using j1ih transaction. the transactions posted against JV come under ETT diex.
