Password error

Hi Sappers,

For accessing Mysap SRM through portal the following requirement came.Is it possible & how?

"If for longer period of time portal is wordking as idle then after certain time( e.g. 5 min ) system should ask password for next working."

Hi,

In the portal, goto system admin --> system config --> in detail navigation, server config --> portal runtime --> central config -->default.component.timeout. Change its value from default.

Moreover, when you are connecting portal to backend systems, you can set the timeout period for its sessions with portal. For this, goto:

transaction RZ10->choose your instance profile->extended maintanace, there change the value of 'rdisp/plugin_auto_logout'.
